Ardmore Cottage
A modest 1930s cottage gains a glass room.
Our smallest project of the year, and one of our favorites. A single addition that changed the way the whole house felt.
The clients did not need more space — they needed better light. We added a 280-square-foot glass conservatory on the south side of the house and removed a hallway. That was it.
The rest of the budget went to rebuilding the kitchen around a single piece of honed Vermont soapstone.
